Happy shopping!!!
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~
This post is taken from Donna Huisinga's blog As the Card Rack Turns:
This is Valentine Gilly by Prairie Fairy Designs! She's all set to send her love to someone special ♥ The set (not shown) includes three image files JPG, PNG as well as full resolution colored PNG... She's colored with copics and accented with Glamour Dust. I LOVE covering white areas with Glamour Dust!
Of course her glasses needed some Diamond Glaze along with the heart :)
I fashioned a bow using 1/8" ribbon with tulle behind and a pink felt heart on top! I've also included a couple of my homemade scrolls which you can see behind the tulle. These are now gone, so it's time to create more! If you'd like to see my tutorial on how to create your own scrolls, you can find that Here. The products I've used are: Transparent Gloss Gel and Glamour Dust!
So this is Gilly's Gift which is part of the Holiday Gilly set by Roberta at Prairie Fairy Designs. The challenge this time at Fairy Fun Fridays is... Birthdays! Come play along with us and check out the fabulous work from the rest of the DT Here.
Gilly's colored with copics; diamond glaze for the lenses of her spectacles; Glitter Liner accents on her dress, socks, headband and gift wrap.
A close up of the cupcake I cut out from the digi set by Nitwit. Stickles and Diamond Glaze cover the yummy icing on this sweet cupcake. For the cherry on top, I used Strawberry Ultra Fine Flower Soft. Unless stated, all products used on this card can be found at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.
This is an ornament I made for my sister this past Christmas. Her Christmas tree was decorated in silver, purple, pink and blue, so those are the colors I used. Sorry for the poor photo... believe it or not, this is the best of all the pictures I took!
I've had this snowflake die cut for awhile, and I was so excited to be able to use it! Yes, I am easily amused lol! I also got to use my fave Viva Decor Opal Paper Pen - yippeeeeee!
The sparkly snowflake ribbon with the metal snowflake in the center are both compliments of Jo-Ann's (no, not free... I had to give them every penny hee hee)
She's colored with copics: Hair - E49 E59 E25 E53; Purples - BV04 BV02 BV01 BV00; Greens - G28 G21 G12 G00; Sled - E57 E55 E53 E51.
This is Flower Cheer by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Winter Sampler. I think she's so pretty!!! For some reason, I decided that I needed to make an A2 size card - must have been the scraps I was using lol!
In this close up, you can see the TonerTex glitter I applied with the adhesive pen. This is a great way to apply glitter! No mess like you have with other techniques. Suzanne and Marti both have videos at Susana's store showing ways to use this product. You can see them Here and Here!
Although I don't own (yet) an Epiphany Crafts Button Tool, I used a clear button, cut matching dp and glued it on the bottom. Not as easy or convenient, but it'll have to do for now :)
I've used Viva Decor Glitter Liner to enhance the swirl die cut as well as a bit more bling on her hat and jeans. For snow on the ground, I glued Polar White Flower Soft (15% off!) up and under her shoes so it looks like she's 'in' the snow :)
For a soft furry trim, her jacket got the Sparkly fluff treatment as well as the pom pom on her hat! I think I over did her eyes a bit lol! I wanted them to be nice and shiny, but I made the hole on my Diamond Glaze bottle too big - sigh... she has the prettiest eyes though!
The silver ribbon lace and snowflakes came from Jo-Ann's...

I've colored her with my fave copics - no surprises there lol! Pinks - RV34 RV32 RV11 RV10; Hair - E35 E4 YR21 YR20; Teddy Bear - E35 E34 E33 E31 E30; Teddy's Nose - E18 E17 E15. Teddy's tummy and foot, as well as Lexi's eyeshadow and bows got some sparkly detail using Stardust Stickles!
Papers are from Daisie Company and Bearly Mine Designs - all digi papers! I love them... and I love pink - can you tell? hee hee
Here's a close-up of one of the beautiful butterflies from SCACD... As I write this post, I see that they are 25% off! Susana has other colors available as well - check em out!
This is a quick and easy 3 x 3 card... The only tricky part was deciding how to cut away her face from the paper piecing! I will do it differently next time... The soft furry trim on her hat is Sparkly Fluff which I attached using my Quickie Glue Pen. Even though the area I wanted fuzzy isn't small and detailed, the Quickie Glue Pen was really quick and easy so I opted for that. The ball at the end of her hat and the cute little star on her pram (is that what you call it???) was made sparkly with Viva Decor Glitter Liner. This Glitter Liner can get in the most detailed areas - that's one of the things I really like about it! I popped on a tiny bow and she's ready to go : )
