Free Downloads!

I usually don't post on Sundays, but I am going stir crazy - lol!  It's been three weeks since my surgery and I'm just about ready to bust out :D

Gotta get me some paper, Copics, ink, embellies -- ahhhhh... just what the doctor ordered!  I've also been searching for new challenges - can you believe it?  I am just beginning to enter a few and I'm already a challenge "junkie" - hee hee!

Have you discovered free digital scrapbooking?  They have FREE downloads - yay!  Lots of digi papers... They also have digi kits (cute embellies!).  Pop on over and enjoy some great eye candy :D

Well, after I get me some sleep (it's in the wee hours of Sunday am!) I plan to dig into my craft stash.  I have a few birthdays coming up, so I'm thinkin that's the direction I need to go!

I'll see ya back here soon...

Love and hugs ~

Blessings to all!!! It's Thanksgiving Day here in the US.  For those of you who celebrate this holiday, "Happy Thanksgiving!"  I plan to eat lots of yummy food :D  I am so excited because I get to see my sister, brother-in-law and two nephews!!!  They live in Oregon which is about 7 hours driving time from where I live in California.  I haven't seen them in over a year!  I must also mention that I get to see my mom, sister and brother too :)  I see them pretty frequently, but I'm so happy to celebrate this year with them all!!!

Yes!  Amazing, but true - hee hee!  I have a completed card ready to upload for you to see.  The only thing is - well, I have a previous engagement.  I am going to a jewelry making craft night with the women of my church.  As much fun as this is going to be, I must admit that I've been enjoying a day of total rest and relaxation at home!  Now, this will be the first time I've gotten in my car to drive in over two weeks...  Look out world, here I come - lol!  Don't say I didn't warn you :D

So when I get home later this evening, I promise you that I will make it a priority to get back here with the "unveiling!"  You've seen Wendy's images at Digital Doodling before, and this is gonna be another of her cuties!  Look for more info about the upcoming challenge beginning this Monday.  Oh how much fun we are gonna have!

Have you picked up your free image yet?  Mrs. Tilly Claus is standing on my sidebar just waiting for you to click her which will send you over to Wendy's Digital Doodling.  Don't wait another minute, cuz you're gonna want her for the challenge - hee hee!

See you in a few hours!

No Worries!

Ok... I admit it... I have not been a very good patient...  I was feeling so good that I did waaaaay tooooo much too soon!  Yikes!  Boy did I pay for it...  The last week has been a time of rest, rest, and more rest.  How much TV can one watch?  I think I got my quota in for the rest of the year - hee hee!

So.  Guess what?  I'm ready to begin again - yay!  This time, I am taking it slow.  Really, I am!  I am sleeping in (yawn...) and doing as little cleaning up around the house as possible - lol!

Here is my little cuddle baby.  He keeps me warm and toasty!  Can you say "Aww?"

Here he is giving me the "I'm not happy about this" look!  It's his first time going swimming, but he doesn't see the difference between having FUN and taking a bath... lol!

Well... I think I just may have a card to show you very soon!  If not before, I will definitely have something to show you next week for Wendy's Digital Doodling here  It's gonna be a cutie, just you wait 'n see!  You're gonna love her!  Just today, I got "back in the saddle" and sat at my desk... coloring was so much fun!  Oh how I love when a plan comes together :D  Can't wait to show you lots of new images!

Until next time my friends ~

Exciting News!

What?  No card - again???  So sorry to disappoint you... I am feeling better each day and gaining strength as well.  Thank you so much for your prayers, God is answering them :D

On to the exciting news!  I can hardly believe it myself... the DT at Wendy's Digital Doodling here have chosen me as their newest DT!!!  This just goes to show you that if I can do it, so can you - lol!  I am humbled and oh so excited!  I just pray that I may be able to provide some comfort and joy through the gifts which God has given me!  A HUGE thank you and BIG hug to Wendy, Mandy and Liz xx

So... because I don't have a project to show you today, I thought you'd enjoy a little laugh...

This is my furbaby, Sammy (on the right) with his workout buddy, Scooter.  Aren't they just the cutest?

I'm Home

It seems like such a long time since my last post!  It has been less than 48 hours... Wow!  God truly is amazing!!!  Everything went well with my surgery.  I am now resting at home.  Part of "resting" for me is visiting your lovely blogs - and there are so so many of them.  How talented you all are!  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your creativity with me : D

Since my pain level is under control, I am hoping to get out my Copics and do some coloring soon!  I'm sure that you'll agree with me when I say that just thinking about cardmaking supplies makes one happy.  Being able to look at and touch them is even better, but the best is when it all comes together... to see, touch, create... such JOY - hee hee!

Well, short and sweet for today.  Hoping to show you a project soon!

Until next time, my sweet friends...

Cupcake Tilly in the Pink

Well... it's surgery day!  I am still up getting the last things done before I go to the hospital in just a short 9 hours.  Who would have thought that getting my blog updated and entering my final card for Wendy's Digital Doodling Challenge would be on top of my list - hee hee!  I'm still hoping that the hospital will have wireless interest access  - lol!!!

Ugh... will someone please tell me why my photos will not transfer from my camera?  Must be because I'm in a hurry!  One more try...  Ok here goes - phew!!!

So what do you think?  Was it worth the wait? : D  I just adore her...

I'm crackin myself up because I can see that the glue is still wet on the rhinestones!  See?  I wasn't kidding when I said that I'm just getting things done - lol!

Gotta show ya the sparkles, of course!  I used Frosted Lace Stickles for the hearts on the paper cupcake.  Diamond Glaze is on the yummy frosting : D

...and last but not least - drum roll please... (it MUST be bedtime!)

Don'tcha just love the cute little cupcake in the center of the flower???  So adorable I'm telling ya!

Thank you, my friends, for your prayers.  I know that God is taking good care of me.  I have His peace which  surpasses all understanding!!!

Hopefully I can get on my computer again soon.  Until then...

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

Cupcake Tilly

What?  The week half over?  Are you kidding me?  By the time you read this, it will most likely be Wednesday...  I know I've said this before, but where does the time go?  Have you EVER found where the other sock went?  These are some of the things I choose not to take a lot of time pondering, but occasionally, they just seem to pop right in - lol!

On the more serious side, I just found out yesterday that my brother-in-law has cancer : (   If you are a person of prayer, please lift him up before God's Throne of Grace and Mercy.  God knows who you'll be prayin' for.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!  I know first hand about cancer...  I am a breast cancer survivor (two and a half years now).  That was by far the most difficult time in my life!  But, just recently, JESUS healed me of cancer - yay, no oncologist for me!  So I know that He is more than able to perform miracles for all who believe : D   Do you need healing?  Call on the name of JESUS...  I am trusting Him to bring me through surgery, victoriously, this Friday.  I'll have lots of time while recovering, so send me some sunshine (comments) : D

Ok - enough of that!  Let's have some fun! : D   If you check out Wendy's Digital Doodling here you can have your very own Cupcake Tilly for free!  I had the most fun ever designing this card for Digital Doodling's current challenge which closes on November 6.  Can you see the sparkle?  You know how much I love sparkle!

Tilly is colored with my fav Copics.  The frosting has diamond glaze with glitter sprinkled between coats.  Here's a close up -

The hearts buttons and flowers in Tilly's hair are accented with diamond stickles. The silver heart charm is from my stash.  I used my white sharpie for highlights and polka dots on the cupcake liner.  Gotta love those polka dots!

Photo corners are from Martha Stewart; ribbon from Michael's Basic line, sentiment also from Michael's and Robin's Nest pearls from Susana's Custom Art and Card Design here.  I'm tellin' ya that Susana has the best customer service ever!

Until next time, my friends...
