A Double Release WOW!!!

Yippppeeeeee! It's Friday here in the US. That used to mean pizza and movie night. Now my hubby has dinner meetings on Friday, so I can eat cereal if I want to lol! It also means a few hours of pure craft fun - yay!!!! You should see my work desk... or not. It is in need of clean up BIG TIME. I know that you know what I'm talking about - the way your work area looked before you cleaned it lol! Mine probably is much worse though. I have piles all over the place... but a section in front of me is relatively clear so I can color hee hee!

Have you been hopping today? I'm sure that you've already seen some FABULOUS inspiration from the uber talented DTs from SCACD and Quixotic Paperie! You should have started with Kim and hopped until you reached Mary who then sent you to me :)

If you get lost, or have stumbled upon my blog, you can find the entire Hop List at the store blog HERE.

Let's get ready for some WHEN SWEET MEETS SASSY fun!!! This awesome DOUBLE release is by the fabulously talented Victoria Case. All Victoria Case for SCACD collections are exclusives... you can not get them anywhere else! I must say that this NEW DOUBLE RELEASE is definitely one of my most favorite releases! There's not a bad apple in the bunch lol!

From the Bonita's Collection, I'd like to introduce you to 'Beach Bonita.' This is a collection of 4 stamps with a bonus flourish stamp which is only available in the set.

Oh... she's so beautiful! Doesn't it kinda look like you're seeing her while in a submarine? Pretty cool, huh? Look at that gorgeous flowing hair!

Beach Bonita is colored with my fave copics: Hair - E35 E34 YR21 YR20; Skin - E11 E21 E00; Shells - E55 E53 E50; Coral - R81 R11; Seahorse - BG02 BG01 BG000, accented with white gel pen and lots of Stardust Stickles!

To make it look like the image is on the other side of a window, I die cut a circle out of acetate, gluing it on top of the image which was already die cut using my Nestabilities Classic Large Circle. I then cut a circle frame and glued that on top of the acetate to cover up the mess lol!

Do you see all the water droplets? I made them with Diamond Glaze. I also covered the fish cutouts with Diamond Glaze. It makes them look like shiny puffy stickers! You can use this product to make anything a 'puffy sticker!' It is a staple in my craft pantry. LOVE Diamond Glaze :)

Another FABULOUS new product I LOVEEEEEEE is Glamour Dust paint. If you click on one of the photos, it should enlarge so you can see in detail (hopefully) how shimmery this paint is. I've used Ice Crystal on the white swirls and also on the yellow flowers. Take a peek and see if you can see! Not sure the camera captured it, but it is beeeeeutiful!!! Susana has a ton of other colors at the store you'll want to see!

From the Retro Crew Collection, I'd like to introduce you to Mrs. Cleaver. This also is a collection of 4 stamps with a bonus lava lamp stamp which is only available in the set.

Isn't she a doll? AND...if you happen to be old enough to remember Leave It to Beaver, doesn't she remind you of his mom, June??? She always had everything together and could whirl around in heels and pearls! Me? Gimme my sweats or jammies n slippers LOL!

Mrs. Cleaver is also colored with copics: Hair - E49 E59 E25 E53; Skin - E11 E21 E00 R20; Dress - BG18 BG13 BG11 BG10; coffee pot and cup - E49 E17 E15 E13 E11. Stardust Stickles accents her apron and collar, and Diamond Glaze gives her eyes, shoes, coffee pot and cup great shine! Do you like the gold edged roses? The larger one is a Prima Sugar Bloom Rose which already comes with the gold. I included some Mini Roses as well, so I decided to edge them all with Gold Stickles to match. Voila!

The panels were sewn this time with my sewing machine, but I've also used my Sew Easy and will continue to use this cool tool. I just purchased the zig zag attachment and can't wait to use it!!!

Here's the gorgeous embellishment I created using one of Prima's Vintage Trinket Charms. I 'distressed' a white button with Viva Decor Gold Inka Gold with a little bit of Viva Decor Rose Inka Gold then I brushed a bit of Glamour Dust Gold Glitz Ultra Fine Glitter Paint over the top. When that was dry, I attached it to the gold piece I found in the jewelry section at my local craft store. To attach the charm to the now gold backed button, I used the wire that held the charm to the original package - I know... frugal :)

Now that you've had a taste of what's in each set, I know that's it's impossible to choose just one... so here's the good news :) If you purchase the entire Sweet Meets Sassy Collection (4 Bonita's and 4 Retro Crew) you will receive 2 bonus stamps (Flourish and Lava Lamp)!!! Remember, these are SCACD exclusives AND they are available NOOOOOOOW - yippppeeee!

For our European friends, please check out Quixotic Paperie who is an exclusive SCACD retailer. Elaine rocks - you'll love her!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Your next stop is Lisa H. Happy Hoppin'!!!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~
