For a Special Girl

Can you believe another week has gone by?  It's Monday and I'm off to go workout.  Grunt!  My poor body just doesn't want to do what it used to...  I used to make fun of my DH when he would get up and make that sound (if you are over 40, you probably know what I'm talking about!).  Well, to my horror, I found myself making that same noise last week.  Eeeeeek! Ha ha!!

My dinner at Olive Garden on Saturday was delish!  I saved some calories by having a 'low cal' dish, Apricot Chicken.  It really was very tasty.  You know that I was going for the full calorie version of Black Tie Mousse Cake though.  I almost didn't share it... I gave my DH a bite - hee hee!  It was soooo yummy!!!  I felt loved and appreciated as we celebrated an early Mother's Day, so all is well : )

Have you visited Karen's Doodles US Challenge Blog lately?  Karen has some waaaay cuuuuute images!  This week's challenge is:  Birthday/Celebrate.  You can win 1, 2 or 3 digi images of your choice!  Go ahead and enter : )  Today I'm using "I Love You THIS Much, Girl."

Hi there...I am so glad that you found our challenge blog and got to play along with us last week...even if it was a tad bit late!

Your card is absolutely too darn cute! I LOVE that you draped the charm from her hands! Very clever idea! Beautiful colors and the embellishments you've added are the perfect touch!

I hope you'll get to play along with us more often, now that you've found us!

Hugs,
Priscilla

Oh, love how she's holding the charms! Gorgeous!!
Your dinner sounds lovely... and I think after years of sharing, you deserve to eat ALL your cake!! ha ha. My sweetie little 4yo DD surprised me by even remembering that it was Mother's Day! And I got a sweet handmade ThaiChi fan! Which she swiftly asked if she could have it! :)
Have a great week ♥

Absolutely beautiful and attaching chain with the card is very unique idea. Great colors combination you created in it. Those three flowers is my favorite and marvelous combination with leaves.
