Prairie Fairy for Boys?

Hi everyone!  The weekend is fast approaching and I am looking forward to getting some serious crafting done!  Of course, that's what I always think... something usually happens that requires my attention and then I end up doing that instead.  But this time, I really plan on getting a few projects done - lol!

Besides the Christmas tree still being up (what???) there isn't anything pressing.  The dust will still be there when I'm ready - hee hee!  The vacuum cleaner wants the week off anyway : )

So, is Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps just for girls?  I'm so glad you asked that question!  The answer is no...  Here is my Prairie Fairy DT card which I made for my nephew.

This is one of Roberta's images from her Snips 'n' Snails line.  You'll find other great images at the Prairie Fairy Digital Store which are good for boys as well!  Go take a peek and give Roberta some well deserved love - she's been working so hard for us...
I've entered this card into the following challenges:  Susie's Sassy ChallengeCopic Colour Challenge

Details:
Image is colored with Copics and a few highlights added with white Sharpie pen.
Glasses are filled with Diamond Glaze and Stickles added around the rim.  I cut them out and used pop dots so they would really stand out.  What do you think?  Spectacular?  lol...
Music notes Cuttlebug EF and circles nesties for background
Quickutz tag cut out and buttons with embroidery thread added for dimension
Paper from Scrap Girls - digital
Sentiment printed from computer
"screws" and buttons from stash

Here's a better view of the 'Spectacular' glasses - lol!

Well... I've had a slow start designing for Roberta, but there's gonna be lots more coming!  So incredibly cute I say!  I'm working on one more which I should have ready for you tomorrow : )  Be sure to check back.  You won't want to miss it!

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to enter my Surprise Blog Candy - ends at 12:00 midnight PST.  You won't want to miss out on the fun - hurry on over and get your name in!!!  Here  There's a ton of amazing candy you can also find in my candy jar.  Check out all the lovely blogs while your at it.  So many talented people with such awesome inspiration are just a click away : )

Ok my friends, I'll be back with another Prairie Fairy design for you soon.  Oh... please check out the Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog too!  Stay tuned for more!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~
