Hi!  Just me again...  I know - you haven't seen a card from me in ages and then I go and whip up two at once - lol!  Well, that's how it goes.  Every other week is Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge and this is the week for my DT card.  So every other week you get a 'two for one' deal - isn't that wonderful? Hee hee!!!

So this week's challenge is a movie theme.  I thought that this image from Karen's Doodles was perfect - not to mention just adorable : )  You can purchase this digi from Karen Here.
I've colored this image with copics and accented with Diamond glaze (eyes, popcorn tub and shoes).  I've also used Clear atyou Spica pen on her dress, ribbons, socks and lid on her drink.
MS punch for 'lace' border; ribbon and gems from Michael's and the 'ticket' from Miss Cutiepie - a freebie (sorry, I don't have the link to her blog).

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 5 begins today with a movie theme.  Get those brain cells in gear and show us your stuff!!!  Oh... and don't forget to check out the DT's creations.  You'll find soooo much inspiration!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

A Color Challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays!

Happy Happy Friday!!!  This week has been another crazy one for me.  Do you ever feel like asking to get off the ride...but your not even on one?  Yep.  That's what it feels like today - lol!  The good news is that I've worked out every day this week - yay!  The bad news is today I've eaten waaaaay too many brownies...  Oh well.  I'll work it off tomorrow - hee hee!!!

Today is a new challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays.  We're using the following color combo.  Isn't it fab?
While you're at the challenge blog, check out the amazing creations from the DT.  You'll be feasting your eyes on some gorgeous eye candy!

Here is what I came up with this week...
I'd like you to meet Bedtime Bella.  She is a girl after my own heart!  She has her blankie and her bunny.  All set to go off to dreamland.  Those of you who know me well, know that one of my most favorite combos in the whole world is my blankie and my doggie.  Bella likes her bunny best : )  You can purchase this digi from Prairie Fairy Designs Here.

Even though Bella is headed off to bed, she's still stylin' with her blue headband which I colored with copics and accented with Baby Blue atyou Spica pen.  The nesties and flowers are edged with Stardust Stickles for more bling!
Bellas feet are always warm with her new fuzzy slippers.  I've used my new fav Quickie Glue pen and Breezy Blue Sparkly Fluff to make her feet nice and cozy!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Kate's a Celebrity!

Since finding Kate's story from Lacey at Stamp and Create, I felt I needed to also let others know about this little girl's struggle for life.  You can find my original post here as well as the link on my sidebar which will take you to Kate's Story on CaringBridge.org.  I thought you might find today's journal entry especially interesting.  Here's an excerpt from Holly (Kate's mom):

I wanted to include a quick letter from our friend Karen Kingsbury. Karen, as you know, is the nation's top Christian fiction author, and she has offered to write Kate in as a character in her upcoming book. We found out that Kate will be in Karen's fall release, "Unlocked". She will play the younger cousin of the main character, Holden Harris. Holden is an autistic teenager whose mother prays for a miracle, that she might connect with her son once again. Kate's character will be integral in helping reach that place in Holden's heart. Her role is a tender and precious one- much the way Kate is in real life. More information about Karen and this fundraiser can be found at
www.prayforkate.com under "in fiction". Here is what Karen says about the conclusion of this special fundraiser for Kate:

Dear reader friends and friends of Kate McRae, We have reached the end of our fundraiser for Kate, but I wanted to give you one last chance to take part! Anyone who donates $100 or more to the Kate McRae fund in the next week, will have your name (or the name of someone you love) mentioned in the acknowledgements section of my upcoming book, "Unlocked." This very special book will feature Kate as a character. In this way, you have helped her family financially, and placed Kate Forever in Fiction (TM). All money donated will go to the McRae family. Thank you for your prayers and support for them. Let's keep praying for a miracle for Kate. In His light and love, Karen Kingsbury.
Kate, if you are able to see this, WE LOVE YOU!
May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

Dance Like No One's Looking

Happy Happy Friday!!!  Yay... the weekend is just around the corner!  I am so glad because I really need to get caught up.  You know how it is when you're just running around like a chicken with it's head cut off - ewww!  But seriously, I've been so busy doing 'stuff' that the things I really need to get done haven't gotten done!  So, it looks like I'm gonna have a work weekend - but it will feel soooo good when it's done : )

On to my DT card for Prairie Fairy...  It is time for another Fairy Fun Friday Challenge.  Can you believe that we are now on Week 7?  Where has all that time gone?  I have a confession... I did make a card for this week, but I got lost and I don't know exactly what the challenge is {gasp!}.  So, I hope you can still find some inspiration here, even though I didn't follow instructions!

This image is also from the Prima Ballerina digital download at Prairie Fairy Designs.  You get both images for only $5.00!  Isn't the Fairy wonderful?  I've colored her with copics:  Pinks:  RV81 RV83 RV85  R39; Grays:  C00 C0 C01 C02 C03.  For dimension and shine on her nose and ballet slippers, I added Diamond Glaze (also on the pink flower petals)

Stardust Stickles on her tutu and around the doily heart!  I keep forgetting that when I add stickles on an image that I've printed (not stamped) the ink bleeds into the stickles so it looks dark.  Don't do what I do, do what I say - lol!

Again, I've colored and cut out the tutu and popped up just the bottom and curled up the ends.

I now have flower jewelry - yay!!!  Thank you, Linda, for letting me know about Bizzy Becs : )  I also found some from Stamp and Create, so I'm not sure where this particular piece came from.  I added the pink gem in the center from my stash.  The white flower is from Bazzill and I used MS Hydrangea Punches with the same dp and cs as I used on the card.  Stitched around the edges, layered the heart doily with coordinating dp, punched the lace border with another MS punch and used one of my fav ribbons from Michael's (I know, I know... I use it ALL the time!)  I just bought more today - hee hee!  Finished the card with the silver 'pearls' (what do you call those?) and the pink and green gems - ta da!!! lol!

These are the challenges I'm entering this week:

Whew!  I can now head to bed -lol!  Gotta get up to work out in about 7 hours {sigh}.  I really NEED it... Why is it that the older you get, the harder it is to keep the weight off?  I mean, I don't think I eat that much - except maybe chocolate - ha ha ha ha.  Oh well...

Have a fantabulous weekend, my friends : )

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

 Thank you for caring!

*Candy* *Prizes* ... Let's Get Hoppin'

***(See post below for Fussy and Fancy Friday)***

Welcome to Prairie Fairy's 1st DT Blog Hop! If you came here from Kelly's Kreative Korner then you are on the right track!  Your next stop will be the lovely and talented Heike at My Creative Place.  If you would like to start at the beginning, click Here.
The hop begins midnight tonight (Prairie Fairy time) and will end at 9pm on Valentine's Day. From midnight tonight until midnight Friday, there will be a FREE Prairie Fairy digital stamp that you can download at the Prairie Fairy PCP group.  And you can win this fabulous candy PLUS 4 images of your choice from Prairie Fairy Designs - wowzers!!!

For my Hop project, I chose to use 'Sending You Love' which you can download for your very own Here.  Don't you think this adorable bunny is perfect for a HOP? Hee hee!

As you can see, I've made this little cutie into two projects.  These digi images are so versatile!  I love em!!!  (See details below).
I'd like to enter these projects in the following challenges:

Here's my card which I colored with copics.  The image is actually 3 dimensional.  I printed it out 3 times.  The first image is colored, the second image is colored, cut out and 'popped' on top of the first image.  For the third image, I only colored his head, cut it out and 'popped' it on top of the second head.  For the envelope, I colored the first and second images as above, but then instead of 'popping' the third image, I cut out just the heart and glued in over the second heart so that it would stay behind the bunny's arm.  Whew!!!  Can you see the white sparkly fluff on his tail?  Too cute!!!

Do you believe this little box holds 16 miniature chocolate pieces?

They stack pretty nicely in there...

The inside is covered in coordinating dp as well.  Can you guess where I got the 'template' for this box?  I only had to hike to my bathroom - lol!  Yep, I took apart a soap box and traced around it.  Pretty clever huh?

So... who wants even MORE candy?  If you've stayed with me for this long, you've got to be getting pretty hungry :D  I've put together an assortment of goodies for ya, but of course, not edible...  Included in this prize package is 2 digis of your choice at Prairie Fairy Designs! Yay!!!

To win my blog candy, just leave me a comment letting me know you've been here and would like to enter for a chance to win.  If you choose to post on your blog that would be wonderful, but not necessary.  If you like what you see and want to become a follower that's great too, but totally up to you.  That's it!  A winner will be chosen and announced on Feb 15.  You will have 24 hrs. to claim your prize.  If I don't hear from you, another name will be chosen.

Before you go, don't forget to leave a comment... then onto the hop!

Just in case you get lost, here's the hop list:

Heart and spool colored with copics.
Embroidery thread wound around the spool,
stitched through the heart doily and through the eye of the needle.

Prima Ballerina

Have you tried to guess my CANDY which is coming soon???  My last hint was that it's name has 8 letters in it...  Here's another hint:  you can color it once or you can color it up to 8 times!  Curious yet?  You'll be wanting your crafty hands on this.  Don't miss out!

The Fairy has been busy creating super delicious cuties for us.  Have you taken a peek at the store lately?  You'll find Prima Ballerina there waiting for you to download!  Once you have your image, head on over to Fairy Fun Fridays to see the sketch and enter the challenge.  You never know, the prize may have your name on it!  Here's what I came up with this week:
Supplies Used:
Copics
Tutu and slippers - BV000 BV00 BV04
Skin - C1 C3 C5 R10
Ears and nose - R10 R11 R34
Stardust Stickles on tutu
Diamond Glaze on nose and slippers
Digi paper by Aimee Asher
Oval and scallop nesties
CBEF - Swiss Dots
Punches by EK Success
Ribbon and gems from stash
Flowers from Beverly's and Joann's

I was hoping to see some shine here from the Diamond Glaze. You can see it on her nose, but not on the slippers...

I used pop dots only at the bottom edge of her tutu to lift it up :D I also used pop dots under the image and under the oval for more dimension.

I am entering in the following challenges:

Don't forget to head on over to Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge Blog to get some more inspiration and view the loveliness that the other DT members have for you!  I'm looking forward to seeing your entry :D

Now, I'm off for a night out with the girls - yay!  It's been a very long time since I've had a 'play date!' - lol!  Hoping you are all staying warm and having fun with your crafting goodies.

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

Candy Coming Soon!

Happy Thursday!!!  Just one more day until Friday - yippee!  I can hear the pizza calling my name - lol!  I think it should also be movie night.  There's only one problem though.  Do you know what it's like to want to watch a really good movie - you know, the girly kind of GOOD movie?  Now take that and put it in a house full of testosterone - lol!  Not a good combination, I tell ya... Even my little furbaby is male {sniff, sniff...}.  But that's OK - I'll just watch what I want after my hubby goes to bed - hee hee!  Then it's feet up on the sofa, bowl of popcorn and maybe even some chocolate {drooling}.  Pure bliss - everything I do is wonderful because I always want to do what I want - LOL!!!

Now on to a little teaser of candy - not the chocolate kind this time.  I am starting with one or two stamps.  It has 8 letters in the name.  That's all I'm sayin for now, except......you are definitely going to want it!

I'll be back with some Prairie Fairy goodness :D

May God bless you, keep you, and comfort your soul ~

I want to say 'Thank You!' and to give a huge shout out to Mandy at Crafty Fox Cards.  She so generously sent me this from her recent Blog Candy.  There was one winner, but then she decided to give a few more small prizes - and I got to be one of the small prize winners - yay!  So Mandy, thank you so much - I love it!

If I have received candy from you in the past and I didn't publicly thank you, please receive apology and my public Thank You! now.  I'm just learning the ropes of blogland etiquette!  So here's to the following lovely and generous ladies:
