So far, I've cut this border with my Silhouette Cameo from 8" down to 5" with no trouble or loss in quality.  I hope you can use this border in your Valentine's Day projects and beyond :D

Available files are svg, studio, mtc, pdf, eps and jpeg.

Only 4 more days until my January Celebration Giveaway ends... Have you entered yet?

Have a wonderful, crafty day, my sweet friends!

Freebie Time ♥

Well, it's finally time.  I will actually be able to cook (if you can call it that!) today when the new oven arrives.  I have mixed feelings about that lol!

Our old stove had seen better days.  After all, it was over 20 years old...  I had started a fire in the microwave - no... not intentionally hee hee!  But that kinda got the ball rolling to find something that I couldn't break.  The new range looked great, but there was no heat coming from the burners - hmmm.  I didn't even have a chance to break it (in).  Back to the shop it goes.  The serviceman couldn't figure it out either.  These days, everything is sooooo complicated with all the wires and fandangle thingamajiggies!

Long story short... I get to cook today.  Got any ideas what to cook???  Sigh...

I've created another freebie for ya!  If this is something you'd like to grab, be my guest : )  It can be used for digital projects, hybrid projects, any projects!  I hope you like it.

Caramel Popcorn Recipe!

I was browsing online last week and came across these mouth-watering photos from Under A Cherry Tree HERE.

Do you love popcorn as much as I do?  I've been known to go see a movie just because I wanted popcorn LOL!  Well, maybe not entirely for that reason, but it was high on my priority list :D

So, here's a fabulous recipe for Caramel Popcorn!!!  Oh my, Oh my... Since this is only a preview of the recipe, please see the original post for full instructions HERE.

Nested Hearts Freebie

I've been wondering how many people are just starting out using cut files.  I certainly do not claim to know much, but I have worked with the software for awhile and decided to create some nested hearts.   They are sized from 6" down to 1" and are in 1/4" increments.  Of course, any or all of these can be re-sized to suit your needs.  There are a total of 21 Hearts!!!

Here's a screen shot with the layers digitally colored so you can see the sizes.  How convenient is this???  Are you aware of how much money one would spend on die cuts for the number of hearts offered here?  Oh my goodness...

These are free for your personal use.  Just in time for Valentine's Day

Files come in: svg, mtc, studio, eps, pdf.  Enjoy!

Copic Tutorial Using Digital Brushes

Well... I've finally sat myself down and made a tutorial!!!  At first it seemed like an overwhelming task to try and describe with photos how to color with Copic markers.  I told myself, "Just start!" so that's what I did :D

If you'd like to take a peek, you can find the full post at Scrap Girls Digital Scrapbooking Blog HERE.  Don't laugh too hard lol!

This is the project I made for the tutorial.  It's a hybrid card using Syndee Nuckles' digital brush set Pixie Mischief.  I've entered the new challenge over at Inky Chicks - Anything Goes with this project...

Yes, it's a wee bit late...  past Christmas... but only the sentiment reflects that.  The digital papers are from It's Christmas Biggie Collection and you can find the cool Stitched Swirls HERE.

For a couple of quick and easy hybrid 3x3's I put together these as well:

I created the design in Photoshop, printed out the background paper and design panel, then cut. The sweet button embellishments were made from the same background paper, It's Christmas Biggie Collection and my Epiphany Crafts Button Heart Shape Tool and Heart Accessory Buttons. I don't see the Button Heart Shape Tool, but Susana has other shapes HERE.

I'm really loving the Baker's Twine in so many fabulous colors :D  You can find an assortment HERE.  Everything on all three cards were adhered with my fave Best Glue Ever!

Go check out the Scrap Girls Digital Scrapbooking Blog.  You'll find LOTS of great inspiration, including the NEW Pocket Life designs.  Stay tuned for more, more, more great designs and templates using Pocket Life!!!  I loooooove them :D

Candy Time Celebration!

See Full Giveaway List Below!
Happy Happy New Year friends!  Whew... it's been a whirlwind here getting through all of the holiday happenings.  I'm sure it's been a bit busier for you too, huh???  I must say though, this year has been much much less busy without all of the 'should's' or 'have-to's.'  I kept it pretty simple and I'm happy about that!

I know that some of you will just gasp when I confess this... especially Suzanne Dean lol!  We put up a total of ONE Christmas tree (well, actually two, but I'll talk about that later) which used one set of mini lights and a few handmade ornaments.  It fit on our counter top hee hee! The other one was given to us by our son because my hubby has been saying for years that he wanted to get a Charlie Brown tree.  Well, this year he got his wish!  He likes it even better than the tiny one I bought.  It IS pretty cute with that li'l Linus blankie at the base and the single red ornament hanging from one of the branches.  Thanks M... you're so sweet!!!

So... on to 2013.  Hard to believe, but here we are!  I've made quite a few changes since last year (I know, it's been so long hahaha).  I've needed to step down from the remaining two DT positions I'd been on for a number of years.  I want to publicly thank:  Susana's Custom Art & Card Design and CLP Sketch Challenge for having me be a part of their lives for so long :D  Both Susana and Chelsea are fabulous women and I thoroughly enjoyed designing for them.  You are both amazing!

Yes, it's been quite a ride since I started blogging and designing.  My love for crafts just keeps growing and growing!  YOU, my friends, have been such an inspiration.  I thank you for all of the sharing, love and laughter  I know, I know... when am I gonna get to the candy part? LOL.  Almost there :D

Where do I go from here?  Well, first of all, I am overjoyed to tell you that I am now a part of Scrap Girls Hybrid Creative Team!  Yay!!!  My love for both digi and 'real' are a big reason I decided to apply for one of the positions.  Have you discovered Scrap Girls yet?  Oh my... are you in for a treat!!!  I'll talk more about that in another post though *wink*

Here's the sweets...  I will update with a photo very soon, but I wanted to get this out to you right away!
