Vintage for CLP Challenge

Tuesday's here!  That means Bible Study at the local coffee shop.  Every Tuesday a group of women gather at Jake's for tea or coffee and maybe even a scone - yum!  It has been an amazing ride, I'll tell ya.  God is always up to something : )  It seems that when I least expect it, He'll bring someone who needs prayer or something...  I know that I'm supposed to just 'show up' each week - He does the rest!

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."    Matthew 11:28-30

Doesn't that Scripture just send waves of peace through your soul?  Are you struggling with something too heavy to carry alone?  Call out to Jesus - He's waiting to help you.

Today I have another monochromatic card to share.  This one's my DT card for CLP Challenge.

Does it still count as monochromatic if I have a little bit of accessory color?
It looks monochrome to me lol!!!

Our sponsor this month is Digi Doodle Shop who so generously provided the DT with some images to play with.  This digi is called '1800 Vintage Dress 3.'  I LOVE these types of images!  There are a number of ladies to choose from at Digi Doodle.  I had a hard time picking just one lol!  I'd like to have a few more : )  I think these vintage ladies make such elegant cards.  Don't you?

Here's the sketch to follow.  The Challenge runs from June 1-30.  Check out CLP for all the details!

Thank you for taking a peek at my work today.  I have lots more coming up, so stay tuned : )

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

This came out beautiful. Love, love, love it. Monochromatic is so nice if you can pull it off-which you have done very well.
There are so many nice digi images out there but my printer just doesn't handle the cardstock paper very well. Keeps me short of the opportunity to try many different cool images...like this one:)
