Spook-a-licious Blog Hop

A Happy Spook-a-licious Friday to you!
My mom and sister are headed up to see my other sister and her two boys for Halloween next week.  I'm not sure who has more fun - my mom or the kids :D  I know they'll all have a blast!

A word of warning here... you just may be very disappointed if you're looking for  scary inspiration.  I just don't have it in me!  To be perfectly honest, this is the spookiest you'll ever see on my blog lol!

On to the Hop!!!
There's lots of information in the next two paragraphs.  DO NOT skip past them 'cuz the instructions are important!

Today we are having a Spook-a-licious fun blog hop with stamps and dies from SCACD!!! We invite you to hop along with us for some spooky inspiration! To add to the fun there is Blog Candy available on the SCACD store blog --2 FUN prizes-- and also another different Blog Candy at Quixotic Paperie store blog!

When you are done hopping along be sure  to visit both the SCACD store blog and Quixotic Paperie store blog for details on how to enter for your chance to WIN! You can find all the stamps HERE--if you are in the USA, and HERE- for our International friends. The Dies by SCACD can be found HERE--if you are in the USA and HERE-for our International friends!! Happy hopping and shopping!!

All the fun started today at Danni's Blog, and if you're following the hop, you should have come from Melanie's blog. The complete Hop List can be found on the Store Blog in case you get lost...

Here's what I came up with for the Spook-a-licious Hop!

I've used the image I Want Candy by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD and gave her a Silhouette file hat (as is the Halloween Fun! cut out).  I know... not very spooky, but as I said...I'm just not very spooky!  This is one of those 'too cute to spook' cards :D

I've sponged the 3D Stamp Paint on the background and the candy pieces.  Baker's Twine holds the wrappers closed as well as 'cutes up' the bottle of EEK!

Do you like purple?  It's the new 3D Stamp Paint Susana carries - actually Violet 3D Stamp Paint...  I LOVE this paint because it has such great coverage and is off the chart BLING as well as textured! It will also cover black, but I found that I needed more than one coat.  The colors I've used so far show up best on white.

This reminds me of the Bat Signal lol!  I've edged it in Gold 3D Stamp Paint.  OoOoOo so sparkly!!!  Are you wondering how I got this bat?  Read on...

This pair of dies by SCACD (Garden Corners) turns out more useful than just for decorating corners!  On the left, you can see the negative image left after running through my Vagabond.  Doesn't it remind you of a spider?

Now look at the center of the dies.  Did you find the bat signal?  hee hee.  Who knew that this would come in handy to use as bats for my Halloween card?

Note:  ONE die as shown and a different die come in the Garden Corners Set.  I purchased two sets so I could cut two at once!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul~
