Not One, but Two New Stamp Releases!

Hey Friends!  I'm back with another NEW RELEASE :D  Are you as smitten with new rubber as I am?  I also enjoy working with digis, but there's something about the physical stamp that nothing else can satisfy!

As the holidays are fast approaching and life becomes busier and busier, it's nice to have a moment or two of quiet with my 'calgon take me away' time - which is crafting of course!!!  I don't mean only MY crafting... I mean anything to do with crafts lol!  I truly believe it's the best therapy :D

Are ya ready for a Hop?

This is SCACD's last 2 stamp releases of the year! We're bringing you cuteness from Elisabeth Bell for SCACD with 4 new adorable stamps in the Sampler #8 Collection. We also have Susana Loves Stamps new collection- Mythical Reflections which brings you 4 more mythical stamps to help inspire you and help you create!  Be sure to check out all the details on the SCACD store blog and hop along with the SCACD DT as we showcase these amazing new stamps!

If you've been following us today, you should have arrived here from Amanda's Blog.  If you'd like to start at the beginning, head on over to see Danni!  If you've gotten lost along the way, the entire Hop List can be found on the Store Blog.

Oh how I've had fun fun fun creating with these new stamps!!!  Today I have the privilege of showcasing one image from Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Sampler #8, and one from Susana Loves Stamps Mythical Reflections.

First up is Golden Lily by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.  Totally different style than I'm used to... I really like the way it turned out :D

The background paper is a Silhouette file which I print and cut, but Susana has a wonderful assortment of 6x6 paper pads HERE.  I just happened to find this pattern the other day and knew it would be perfect for this image :D  My husband asked me if I knew what it said.  When I told him that I didn't have any idea, he said, 'What if it says something derogatory?  I'm confidant it doesn't... but if you can read it, please let me know! hee hee

This card actually was quite a family affair... this is the second time I colored Golden Lily.  My youngest son looked at the first one and basically told me it was all wrong.  What would I do without him?  He gave me some pointers, including a couple of photos from his phone.  Thanks C!!!

Here's the list of copics (ShinHans HERE) I've used:
R29 R27 R24 R22 R21; Y28 Y15 Y13 Y11; C9 C7 B01 B00; E11 E00

In this photo, I want to point out different ways to use the 3D Stamp Paint.  The Classic Corners die cuts and Nature's Tapestry Fan were both sponged with Gold 3D Stamp Paint.  The corners, for the most part, are totally covered, while the fan was swiped here and there with the sponge dauber.  I used the same red cardstock for these dies and got different looks using the same paint - yay!  I love when variety happens!!!

Here I've used a Memory Box Honeyblossom Sprig die with green and yellow cardstock, adhering the paper pieced flowers with my Quickie Glue Pen and lightly covering them with Gold 3D Stamp Paint.  On top of that, I've used Gold Liquid Pearls to accent the petals.

Next up is Hannah from Susana Loves Stamps Mythical Reflections.  I do think she is so very lovely!!!

Because I just noticed it and now it's a glaring defect... I must direct your attention to it LOL!!!  I forgot to cut out the lower part of her skirt 'cover.'  I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to my art, I can hardly stand it!  Oh well, I'm learning to live with my many imperfections - ha!

Hannah was colored with the following copics (ShinHans HERE):
RV04 RV02 RV00 C1 BV02 B26 B24 B06 B02 B01 B00 B000 Y28 Y15 Y11 E37 E35 E34 YR21.

I've used a new product on her wings and the gorgeous Memory Box Tiffany Frame die cut (which is on top of the untreated Spellbinders Decorative Oval - selected Spellbinders on SALE).  If you can't see very clearly, go ahead and click on the photo to make it larger...

The new product is Art Anthology's Gelate, which is a very cool dimensional gel paint.  This is Splashed (clear with multi glitter) which I sponged on Hannah's wings and the Tiffany Frame die cut.  It is textured and oh so sparkly!  I haven't tried the other colors yet, but since this is a gel paint, it's transparent (compared to 3D Stamp Paint which gives opaque coverage).

Behind the beautiful Garden Corner dies by SCACD HERE is some fun dp by MME - lots and lots of fun paper HERE.

I've made Hannah hold a sweet heart tag (cut out with my Cameo!) wishing a Happy Birthday to someone special ♥  Imagine the possibilities!!!  She's popped up with dimensionals HERE.

Finishing touches of triple rhinestones bring a bit more bling to the party :D

Our International Friends can find these new releases at Quixotic Paperie.
