Do You Love Shoes?

Hello sweet friends!  I'm so glad you're here : D  It's been a very rough week...  One thing I've learned though is that no matter what we go through, there is ALWAYS something we can smile about.  Maybe I'm not happy at the moment, but if I look hard enough, I will begin to see that I am truly blessed.

How 'bout you?  Are you making a conscious choice to treat yourself as you would treat others?  I know that sounds backwards, but aren't we usually harder and more critical on ourselves than we are on others?  How many times have we gone out of our way to help a friend?  Let's begin to be more kind to OURSELVES : D

I declare today to be...  'Be Nice to Yourself Day' ... and the next one.... and the next one... and the next... hee hee!

Do you love shoes?  Does the thought of going shopping for shoes bring excitement?  Be nice to yourself today!  Is shoe shopping not in the budget?  Window 'shoe' shopping is free... and then maybe lunch with a friend is in the budget : D  As for me... I pretty much wear the same shoes everyday.  I begin the day going to the gym, so more times than not, you'll find me in a pair of sneakers!  But I do love getting together with a dear friend every day for coffee/tea/friendship ♥

Today's image is 'If the Shoe Fits' by Victoria Case for SCACD from The Fairylicious Collection.  You can find her, as well as her fairy friends *Here.*

She is overjoyed that her new shoes fit... and who doesn't love a comfortable pair of shoes???  She's stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with the following copics: RV34 RV32 RV11 RV10 RV00; G24 G21 G40 BG000 BG0000; W7 W6 W5 W4 W3 W1 E50; E11 E00 E000; E49 E59 E25 E53.

To achieve the transparent, but sparkly appearance to her wings, I used Transparent Gloss Gel with Glamour Dust sprinkled on top.  Both sets of eyes, shoes and bottom of the shell also received a nice coat of gloss gel.  One thing I like about the gloss gel vs Diamond Glaze is the control-ability.  Both have great applicators, but the gloss gel is thicker and gives a more dimensional quality.  I suppose you could use multiple coats of Diamond glaze, but for smaller areas, I still prefer Transparent Gloss Gel - I really do!

Gorgeous dp is from the Kaisercraft Bonjour paper pad.  The top two layers have been distressed with Spun Sugar Distress Ink as well as the doily peeking out under the tulle I used as ribbon.  I LOVE tulle : D

Guess what I haven't used in a while?  My PINK (Rose) Paper Pen!  I discovered that I have two of these for some reason...  Do you love PINK???  Anybody want to WIN my 'other' Rose Viva Decor Paper Pen?

The first person letting me know by leaving a comment
on this post only, WINS!
Warning:  You may have to wrestle it out of my hands first lol!

Here's a better view of the shiny parts from the gloss gel : )

See that cute lil tag?  I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) with Black Onyx VersaFine Ink Pad, distressed with Spun Sugar, a couple of paper pen pearls and tied on using Sew Easy Floss in 'Princess' Pink.  Can you believe that I actually used my Cricut (woot woot!!!) to cut out the tag?   My dusty old Cricut is seeing more use lately!  Have you entered my Cricut Cartridge Giveaway?  You can find the post *Here.*

Susana has a nice variety of Memory Box dies.  There is a Classic Tags set (currently out of stock *sad face*) one tag is similar to the size and style I used on this card.  You can find it *Here.*  Check out the other cool designs *Here.*

Because the base layer of dp is textured and slick, I've used Scor-Tape to adhere the middle layer to the bottom layer - AND because the tulle makes the bottom layer bulkier, as I've wrapped the ends behind the paper, I've also used Scor-Tape to adhere the layers to the card base.

New Sylvia Zet and Victoria Case Stamps are Here!

*A long post... with CANDY link below : D
(Creative Card Crew... scroll down for challenge card)

Good Morning and Happy Friday!!!  I really am happy today for several reasons... of course, one is that it's Blog Hop Day... but the other reason is that my DH is better!  The other day, one of my lovely followers commented that her DH was also sick.  She called it the man flu (rofl!).  I've used that ever since (thanks for the laugh!!!).

So... you may have stumbled here 'just because.'  If that's the case, you may wish to start at the beginning of the Hop which is Danni's Blog *Here.*  She has the most ADORABLE image to show off!  If you've already been hopping, you should have come here from Elaine's Blog where you've seen more fabulousness!!!

Before I show you two more must haves... I'd like to congratulate all the blog candy winners which were posted on the Store Blog.  Yay!!!  You'll want to check out the Store Blog daily for new products, information and inspiration.  There's always FUN going on there!

And now... I'd like to introduce you to Loli's Dance by Sylvia Zet for SCACD from the New Adventures of Loli and Poppy.

Such a lovely lady : )  Her friend is happily dancing with joy!  Don't they make you smile?  I've used copic markers for coloring, with Stardust Stickles and Transparent Gloss Gel by Viva Decor for accents.  Can you see her shiny eyes and shoes?

Another thing I'd like to point out is the lower left corner embellishment.  It was gold, but I painted it with Mother of Pearl Viva Decor Precious Metal Paint.  I love the coverage this paint provides!

Below you can see large pearls on the beautiful lace.  These are self-stick which you can find *Here.*  The smaller three at the bottom are Opal Paper Pen by Viva Decor *Here.*

After stamping with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloring with copics, I used the largest circle in the Spellbinders Classic Large Circle set to die cut the image.  Even the largest circle wasn't big enough to fit in the whole image, so I decided to leave some 'over the edge.'

The two small hearts were die cut with the smallest size heart in the Classic Scalloped Hearts.  The 'xoxo' heart stamp is from a clear stamp set by Hero Arts.  All pieces are distressed using Faded Jeans Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

This view shows both Aqua Smooch and Smooch Illuminate which I used to color over the flowers and angel's wings on this cut out (which comes with the Sweet Nothings DP by Kaisercraft).  I am in LOVE with this paper pad!!! Note:  I don't see it in the store right now : (

All three hearts have been popped up with dimensionals *Here.*

My second card features

Isn't she a beauty?  She's also colored with Copics and accented with Transparent Gloss Gel on her eyes and ladybugs.  After coloring her wings, I used a bit of Gold Glitz Glamour Dust Paint on top.  More Gold Glitz on the butterflies and centers of the black flowers (for even more dimension on the flower centers, I also used Gold Stickles).  For the centers of the butterflies, I used my Graphite Paper Pen.

The fun dp is Little Black dress by BasicGrey *Here.*  The dp directly behind the image is a combination I made using photoshop.  So the ladybugs would stand out more, I topped them with Transparent Gloss Gel.  I wanted just a 'touch' of ladybugs in the dp to peek out : D

I die cut the image using the largest circle in the Classic Large Circles.  This time, I left only her foot to go over the edge.  The pearls around the scalloped circle are from my Cream Paper Pen.  I can't tell you how much money I've saved using my paper pens...  I'm tellin' ya, it's the best thing since sliced bread lol!

More beautiful lace from my stash with Stardust Stickles accents and even a gorgeous stick pin *Here.*

New Stamps are Here!!!

It's finally Friday and we're chugging along like the little train that could!  I think I can... I think I can...  However, there is one thing that I would change:  I KNOW I can... I KNOW I can!!!  Why?  Because Jesus says that ALL things are possible for those who believe - and that we can do ALL things through Him as He gives us strength whoooo hoooooo!!!

Now for those of you who are fans of Victoria Case for SCACD, you are in for a real treat!!!  Even if you've never heard of her or seen her fabulous artistry, you'll enjoy today's ride for sure!

So... if you've stumbled upon my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, you'll want to head over to Elaine's Blog where you will be 'wow-ed!'  If you've already been traveling along with us, you should have come here from Melanie's blog where you've feasted your eyes on some of the best coloring around!!!

I'm so excited that I finally get to show you what I've been working on!  This first image is called Wishes Do Come True by Victoria Case for SCACD.  I instantly thought of her being in a bottle, so I searched high and low for both paper and a glass container.  This is what I came up with...

Here's a little gift idea : )  The peanut M&M's are yummy cuz I tasted 'em while I picked out just the green and blue ones LOL!

Wishes Do Come True is stamped with Memento Ink, colored with copics:  Hair - E35 E34 YR21 YR20; Skin - E11 E21 E00 R20; Blues - B26 B23 B21 B000; Greens - G99 G94 G82 G40.

To make the jar look like glass, I recycled a piece of clear acetate from the packaging that a set of stamps came in.  If the jar was smaller, I would have used Diamond Glaze!

I LOVE the look of beads, so I made some jar 'charms.'  I also LOVE pearls and all things sparkly, so I've added some to the bow, the knob on the lid and as a corner embellishment on the card : )  Check out similar products HERE.

Yes... I actually did the inside - I know... mark your calendars on this momentous occasion hee hee.  Since the image is called Wishes Do Come True, I thought having a gift card holder would be appropriate!

Challenges Entered:  Party Time Tuesdays, By the Cute and Girly, Top Tip Tuesday,  Die Cut Dreams, Sir Stampalot, Bearly-Mine, Inky Impressions, Simon Says,  The Paper Shelter, Crafty Ribbons - Bingo (Handmade embellishments, ribbon, gems) Paper Playtime

...For my second project, I wanted to do 'quick and easy' with a little bit of a punch!
Here's my version of Happy Town by Victoria Case for SCACD.

Although I haven't baked them yet... the inside of this box will hold 4 yummy cupcakes!!!  Can you taste the moist, delicious, melt in your mouth (chocolate, white or yellow) cake with (chocolate or vanilla) frosting piled high???  YUM!

The easy peasy card to match!  Again, I stamped with Black Memento Ink and colored with copics:  B95 B93 B91 B00 B000; R29 R27 R24 R22 R21; G28 G24 G21 G40; E18 E17 E15 E13 E11 E00; YR24 Y17 Y15 Y13 Y11.  For some glorious shimmer, I've painted on a few coats of Ice Crystal Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint!  The sentiment is computer generated.

Designer Showcase Day 5 - It's Lola!

Happy Thursday to you, my friends!  I am gearing up for a little trip to Yosemite tomorrow - yay!!!  It's been awhile since we've been there, so hubby and I are headed out early in the morning to pick up our friends who will be joining us.  I can not wait!!!  I know that the falls will be overflowing and beautiful with all the melted snow from the mountains... the rivers will be very fast and full (we will not be in any of them, thankfully!).  Oh, the weather will be in the upper 70's which is perfect.  I will show you some pictures when I return : )
Today is Designer Showcase - Day 5 for the soon-to-be-released "Sweet Meets Sassy Collection #2" by the enormously talented, Victoria Case for SCACD!!

I am so excited to share my card with you which features the ADORABLE new image... Lola.  She's soooo sweet in her chic outfit while walking the oh-so-cute puppy dog!  I hope you enjoy my creation!

Link
I just LOVE this whole NEW Release!  I'm sure that you will love them too... They are sooo sweet and sassy :)  DP is a combination of Echo Park Summer Days and from my stash...

 Of course, Lola is colored with copics:  R29 R27 R24 R22; B04 B02 B01 B00; E35 E34 YR21 YR20.

More HOMEMADE embellishments!  Susana carries Mold-n-Pour Here.  You can make your own molds too : )  Yep... this is from a mold I made from a puppy dog button I had stashed!  I've already gone through my Crystal Gel (I've made a TON of fabulous items) so I dug out my Viva Decor Modeling Creme.  I have Pearl Rose and Pearl Light Blue... neither of which are dog colors, so after it dried, I used white acrylic paint, black for the eyes and nose and covered the whole thing with Diamond Glaze.  It's not perfect, but I kinda like it : )

These three buttons and decorative backing are made with Crystal Gel in Blue/Green.  The buttons were covered with Perfect Medium and Turquoise Perfect Pearls, then coated with Diamond Glaze.  I already had the button mold, but Susana has some FABULOUS button molds you'll LOVE Here.  The glittered backing was made by coating the bottom of the mold I created from another button with fine glitter and filling it in with Crystal Gel.  The glitter is held tight with the Crystal Gel!  I really like this technique... it's so much cleaner than gluing and glittering after!!!

This ADORABLE doggie bone was made the same way as above.  I made the mold from a button, put glitter on the bottom and filled the rest with Crystal Gel...  Isn't it cute???  And there's a Viva Decor Pearl in Ice White I snuck in the photo!

Now... today you have a chance to WIN this fabulous image... all you have to do is leave me a comment on this post, and go over and visit my very talented DT sister, Dianne, and leave her a comment too. We will be drawing one random winner from our comments, how awesome is that????

Thanks so much for taking a peek!  Don't forget to leave a comment here and also at Dianne's!!!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul~

I Loved This Challenge!!!

Howdy!!!  So nice to see you again :D  I've just finished dinner and I'm kicking back in my office chair while I type this.  I was just thinking about my silly puppy dog.  He was lounging on the sofa with my hubby while I prepared dinner.  He probably was watching TV... As soon as I said, "Dinner's ready!" my hubby said that he (Sammy) got all excited and wanted to get down so he could come to dinner!  Do you think that your pet knows what you say?  I'm sure they understand more than they let on - you know, selective hearing LOL!  Oh, Sammy is sooooo spoiled!  Why do we let them take over the household?  What is it that we fall head over heels in love and let them do things that we'd NEVER let our (human) children do?  hee hee...  Just a few thoughts...

OK... I'm gonna be totally honest with you (not that I haven't been!)... I was so not looking forward to coloring this image.  It just looks intimidating!  I don't have a ton of experience coloring animals and I didn't really know how to begin.  With that said, I am pleased with the results!  Do you also shy away from images that you're not sure how to color?  Really... this wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  Once I decided that the sun would be shining on the deer's face, the rest just kinda fell into place.  I KNOW that I still need to work on perfecting my coloring - I hope that I never stop learning!

So this is Forest Fairy by Victoria Case for SCACD.  She's one of the 'From the Vault' stamps at SCACD!

I used a ton of copic colors - some which surprised me lol!  Deer: E59 E57 E55 E53 E51 E50 YR24 YR23 YR21 Y21 R20; Greens: G40 G85 G94; Hair: E35 E34 YR21 YR20; Eyes/Flower: BG05 BG02 BG000.  Sparkly wings?  Stardust Stickles of course!

Look Mom, no flowers!!!  Or  p i n k  hee hee...

A little bit of decorating inside... I usually don't have time!
AND... you know that I gotta use my paper pens!!!  This time it's Moss Green :)

This last shot is just so you can see how Diamond Glaze makes the eyes 'pop' - love this stuff!

New SCACD Product Alert!

I'm off to a meeting now... then home to color up more images - yipppppeeeeeee!!!

See you soon my friends

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul~

From the Vault Release Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!  Are you ready for a Blog Hop?  You are in for a treat as we've prepared two fabulous images by Victoria Case for SCACD as today's eye candy!  If you've come from Lorraine's blog, you are on the right track, if not, head on over to the beginning at Kim's blog.  She is sure to have a treasure for you to see!  If you get lost along the way, the complete Hop list is at the store blog.

My card today features Spa Time Fairy by Victoria Case for SCACD.  You can find this special 'From the Vault' stamp Here.

Ohhhhh how I adore teacups!  This lil' fairy is kicking back in this gorgeous spa/teacup.  Doesn't it make you feel just a little bit pampered already? lol!  I've used my fave copics to color in the fabulous image.  Her wings and flower petals received the usual 'Stickle' treatment... and, of course, the water and bubbles needed some shine with Diamond Glaze.

Another fave... this dp from Madeline 6x6 paper pad by Prima.  Don't ya just love the flowers?  I've embellished them with Stardust Stickles.  There are lots of pretty papers in this pad!  Did you notice the gold rim around the teacup and plate?  I painted it using Gold Glitz Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint.  I think I have 3 coats on the image.  I also gave the edges of the doily and top of the lace a couple of thick coats of Gold Glitz Glamour Dust Ultrafine Glitter Paint.  I also snuck in a few pink rhinestones along the bottom of the lace.

Again, I've used my fave Rose Viva Decor Paper Pen to make all the pink pearls.  Have you tried this fabulous product?  I just can not do without my paper pens!!!  I've made a zillion different sized pearls on this card.  Did you check out her head wrap and towel?  The tiniest pearls can be made at the squeeze of the bottle lol!  I actually have two bottles cuz I thought that I would run out, but I haven't had to open the second one yet... and you know how much I use it : )

***Stamps are available to our international friends at Quixotic Paperie.

Hidden Winner Announced!!!

Hello my lovely friends! Can I just say that you are WONDERFUL? You really are! I want you to hear me when I say this and accept the love I give, which you deserve :) I appreciate each and every one of you ♥

Today's card is a real beauty... just like you! This image by Victoria Case for SCACD is DEFINITELY one of my favorites. I keep looking at her lol! She is called Victoria Bonita and is dedicated to Susana's BFF and creator of this sweetie, Victoria Case :) Whether one is physically beautiful or not, everyone is beautiful in their own way... what matters most is what's in the heart. God says, "The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7

Ooooohhhhh... don't you just love her? She's colored with my fave copics, of course: Hair - E35 E34 YR21 YR20; Skin - E11 E21 E00 R20; Blouse/lips/flower petals - RV11 RV10 RV00; Flower center/leaves - B05 B02 B01 B00 B000; Leaves - G28 G24 G20. Do you like the 'baby's breath' I created with my Cream Paper Pen? I LOVE my paper pens!!! The beautiful pink pearls around the scallop inset are from my Rose Paper Pen : ) See how quick and easy it is to make any size? Super convenient! I don't think the camera picked up the beautiful shine of her eyes which I created using Diamond Glaze. I love how this product really brings out the beauty!

LinkThe small pink rhinestones were added in threes (they come in a row, so I just cut them in threes...already spaced perfectly!) You can see similar rhinestones in rows Here. The larger pearls and Kaisercraft Rhinestones at the bottom balances things and adds that vintage touch as does the mini rose!

I tried here to show you the dimension of this card. After I chose the dp (which I had in my scrap file - I need to use more of my scraps!!!) I used a large scalloped oval die to cut out the center (save the scalloped oval for another project). I did the same with the black cs and large oval die cut. Now I have a mat to fit the frame I made with the dp. See how nice my 'photo' fits in the matted frame? I probably could have used the largest size of the small oval and scalloped oval, but I think this still works :)

The sentiment is an epoxy sticker by Heidi Grace which I backed with the pink and cream paper. Oh, one more thing you might like to know... I used RV000 to color in the scallops (under the pink pearls) so it matches - yippppeeeeee!

New Release Now Available!

It's Thursday and ready or not... Christmas is coming!!! Did you realize that there is just over 1 week until Christmas? Yikes!!! Believe it or not, I just finished decorating the tree! Yes, you may call me Scrooge - Bah Humbug! I don't know what's wrong with me this year... Although I love having the lights up and a festive atmosphere, I certainly was a grump as I hung the stockings! I still need to finish up my shopping ugh...

Well, the update for my hubby with getting his truck driving license is... he didn't pass. He was so frustrated with himself because now he has to start ALL OVER. He was thinking yesterday that he wouldn't go back, but today he is considering going through the school again. I feel like a yo-yo lol! I'm just not looking forward to him being gone so much if he gets a job driving truck blech blech and double blech!!! Please keep us in your prayers! Oh well... if this is God's will for him, I'll just have to see if I can keep myself busy with DT work. That could be fun : )

Today I have a fun new image by Victoria Case for SCACD. This stamp is from The Vault section at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design! When I first saw The Yearling, I thought 'winter' even though she's not bundled up in her snow gear. She very easily could be in another Season such as Autumn or Spring. Can you envision her in the forest along with Thumper? I'm talking about the Bambi movie of course! The Yearling is definitely a darling versatile stamp!

I've stamped the image with Memento ink on Cryogen White and colored with copics. All panels have been stitched with my sewing machine. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it! I really love the look of stitching; I think it adds so much charm!

Here's a close up where you can see that my bottle of Diamond Glaze allowed too much to come out of the tip LOL! Her eyes are very shiny though... I also used my embossing tool to pick up some Diamond Glaze I had poured out on a scrap piece of paper to 'trace' over part of the sentiment. Can you see the Diamond Glaze on the word 'snow'? The papers, mittens and sentiment are from Nitwit. I love how everything coordinates : )

After I printed the precolored mittens, I cut them out and 'distressed' them using Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink and added a bit of Viva Decor Glitter Liner on the ribbon as well as a spot of Diamond Glaze on the button. I decided that they needed to hang on one side of the card, so I glued two pieces of cord the proper length to the back of each mitten and attached the top under the bow and added a button coated with Diamond Glaze on top.

For snow, I made 'snail trails' with Viva Decor Glitter Liner. Her hair bows, collar and cuffs also got a smidge of Glitter Liner. I used my white gel pen for the polka dots and highlights and finished off the card with pearls in the corners using my Opal Paper Pen - which I absolutely LOVE!!!

Challenges Entered:
One Crazy Stamper - Christmas/Winter

You'll also want to pop over to the store blog and see the other new releases NOW AVAILABLE!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you've enjoyed my card!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~

It's a Candle!

Morning friends!  I've been gone on a mini get away.  Yes, it really was mini... all 3 miles away lol!  Actually, I don't even know how far - technically, I could walk there if I was so inclined.  I was not...ha ha!!!  Anyway, a girl has to take certain items with her even if it's just overnight!  There is no way that I could drag all that with me unless I drove.  You know the essentials (at least for me).  My pillow, something crafty to work on if I have time, my Bible, a book...  then there's the other essentials like deodorant, toothbrush, etc...  Really, who goes away without bringing at least a few bags?  Case closed.

So even though I'm back, I'm still catching up!  The first thing I wanted to do when I got home was to turn on my computer to see my friends : )  I resisted though 'cuz the plants and bushes in my backyard were screaming at me!!!  They have been sooooo neglected.  It has been a very very long time since I've pruned and/or deadheaded.  My DH has been doing a fabulous job with the yards (which is his least fave thing to do) so guilt won and I marched my behind outside and worked for 2 1/2 hours.  I do love the sense of accomplishment that brings : )  I am just plain tuckered out now!  Whew!!!

Before I left, I was able to create a few projects, so now I get to share one with ya!  This week's Try It Out *T* is to use an animal stamp only.  I've used the adorable image from Victoria Case for SCACD, Hearts and Hugs Summer Collection, Teddi and Friend.

I stamped the image on tissue paper with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with copics.  I've never colored on tissue paper before!  I did a little shading, but the colors are A LOT lighter than coloring on paper.  I cut around the image and used my heat tool to melt the candle just a bit so the tissue paper sticks.  I got to play with lots of Viva Decor!  Can you tell that this is my most FAVE product to use?  I was going for the 'mother of pearl' type look with the Transparent Gloss Gel.  I made the pearls and then sprinkled Glamour Dust on top.

You can see the Glamour Dust pearls a little better in this photo...  I've also given Teddi a Glamour Dust tummy and paw!  Flowers are accented with Light Blue Pearl Pen and Rose Paper Pen.  Using a MS punch and a scrap of paper from my stash, I glued and embellished the bottom border around the candle.

This was so easy... I've been wanting to do this forever!  Now I have to find some inexpensive candles and make some more : )

A Teddi to Love

How are y'all liking this weather?  Some people thrive in warmer climates... I'm not one of them!  I just melt and whine lol!  Not too pretty...so I'm happy to have an escape by crafting and visiting you, my friends.  If it's been awhile since I've visited you, please leave me a comment so I can find you easier and drop by to say Hi! ; )

Today I have a sample of my new paper pad by BasicGrey to show you.  It's called 'Olivia.'  I went a little bit (just a little) out of my comfort zone with this particular sheet of paper.  I don't normally use these colors and I wanted to expand my horizons lol!  What do ya think?  Anyway, as you know... I just LOVE bears!  Once again, I didn't realize how much I liked this stamp until I inked it up and colored it in!  I will be using this stamp for another project in a couple of weeks, so you'll be able to see the versatility : )

Isn't she adorable?  She's called 'Teddi and Friend.'  I've colored her with the following copics:  E25 E21 E00; BG18 BG13 BG10; R27 R24 R22 R20.

Her little heart shaped tummy and portions of the butterfly are sprinkled with Glamour Dust.  I love the sparkle that Glamour Dust has, but also the transparency!  When I want BIG SPARKLE without the transparency, I use my Viva Decor Glitter Pen.  There isn't anything with more BLING than Viva Decor!

How do you like the ongoing HEART theme?  The HEART dp, the HEART-shaped tummy, the HEART shape I made with pearls...  This is sooooo cool!  I used a template I had in my stash.  It was sooooo easy!  I just laid the template over the area I wanted the heart shape, put a pencil 'dot' where I wanted the pearls, removed the template and then used.... drum roll please.... Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Ice White.  I think they look pretty good, but I have a confession.  I've been having trouble making them look round.  I now have the answer!!!  If you've been having trouble with your Pearl Pen, here's what you need to know:  instead of touching the tip to your paper, make sure the tip is raised off the paper and the bottle is straight up and down.  This way the product will 'drop' out and settle into a perfectly formed 'pearl.'  You probably have been doing it right all along, but those of us who are a little slower... well... you know...  ha ha!

The image was cut out with my oval nestie and layered with a scalloped oval nestie cutout.  Ribbon is from my stash collection... sorry Liz, can't share lol!  Well, maybe...

Happy crafting, my friends!

May God bless you, keep you and comfort your soul ~
